are downvotes reducing payouts, could you please explain me a bit more about this?
Simple answer:
Upvote = Reward.
Downvote = Reduce Reward.
Instead of a thumbs up, it's a thumbs down. As you can see on your pending payout on this post, it has already been reduced by ~$15 or so, and I wouldn't be too surprised if it went down to less than $5.
