Another restoration

First stage... assessment.

Hello my fellow steemians.
Not long ago I posted the restoration of a family heirloom.
It was a small and very old statue of Ste Rita, the patron of the poor..

This figurine has been in my family for 5 generations and had a lot of sentimental value.

Now, my younger brother’s wife has enlisted my help in restoring a ceramic figurine of Joseph, from her nativity set.
This one has been in her family for close to 3 generations and has a lot of sentimental value to her as well.

I, myself have not worked with ceramics before so it’s a new challenge for me and will more than likely take me a considerable amount of time to restore as I’ve no room for error with this one.

So, stay tuned as I’ll be posting the restoration process as I get to each stage.
