Review movie korea - tae guk gi
No one likes war anybody. But war is inevitable. Perhaps for some people, war is the most effective way to solve problems. Though more wars bring harm than benefit. Maybe that's the message that Kang-Je Gyu is trying to convey in the movie besutannya, Taegukgi. Won Bin - a Korean celebrity whose name is quite famous in Indonesia - tells of Jin-seok (the actor Won Bin) who just got a phone call from the South Korean military on the discovery of a bone of someone suspected of his brother Jin -Tae (Played by Jang Dong-Gun). Both brothers are separated by the Korean War that occurred in the era of the 1950s. Jin-seok and his brother were actually inadvertently involved in a war that would separate Korea into two countries. The elder brother, Jin-Tae is required to join the military, who need help. While Jin-seok should not enter the military. Narrated Jin-seok wrong ride the train. The young man accidentally boarded a train carrying a group of youths to be educated into an army. The older brother noticed. But by one of the leaders, Jin-seok still has to go to the barracks. Yet by age, Jin-seok did not meet the criteria. And he also has asthma. But the military leader - from the South Korean side - insists Jin-seok must join the war. Various ways were taken Jin-Tae, the brother. One of them by continuing to lobby the leader. Eventually the leader is willing Jin-seok exit the barracks on condition that Jin-ta should make a real contribution to the South Korean side. Therefore, Jin-Tae often do heroic actions that endanger his life. Later also, Jin-seok will eventually know the agreement of the brother with the leader. Jin-seok gets angry with her sister and refuses to see her brother again. Whereas Jin-Tae did all that to get Jin-seok back. But Jin-seok is too blind to see such great affection from his brother. In the midst of such conditions, there will be an event that prompted Jin-Tae to rash. Without investigating first, Jin-Tae defected to the North Korean side. He thought his brother had been killed in the war, so traumatized and hated the South Korean side. On the North side, Jin-Tae gets a great promotion. The younger brother, Jin-seok who knows the whereabouts of the brother on the North side, keeps pushing into the North Korean camp to meet Jin-seok. But who would have thought, after successfully meeting for the last time, Jin-seok will never meet with his brother, Jin-seok. Even the existence of the body of his brother was still in search. This war movie is dominated by backward flow. Kang-Je gyu, the director opens a story conflict with a preliminary story that happened many years after the Korean War. Fair enough to be done, especially after examining the morals he wished to convey: the war was of no use at all; even the two brothers became separated by the war. Cinematographically, "Taegukgi" is quite well worked out, whether it's angle, sound effect, or other effects. While watching, we feel at the scene. More convincing again, the acting acumen of the players. Beyond that, the plot is also clear and has a balanced portion between the drama and the war. So for the audience who is less fond of war movies, no trouble to follow the film. Hmm, taste-it's almost no flaw in this movie. In addition to having a moral value, this film is also quite 'wow' for the size of cinematography and acting ability of the players.
