Review: Love, Simon.

Movie that I had the opportunity to see a few days ago and wanted to talk about it even though it was released a few months ago, since in my opinion it is quite interesting.

Love Simon, is a film based on the novel called Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, written by Becky Albertalli. The film was directed by Greg Berlant, who is known for being a writer and producer of series such as The Flash and Arrow. This film focuses on a gay teenager named Simon, played by Nick Robinson, who falls in love with a classmate on the Internet and tries to find out who it is.

From the beginning it looks like a typical teenage movie where the protagonist becomes very close to the viewer narrating his story. Throughout this journey there is a mixture of many emotions, because from the beginning there are jokes that will make you laugh, until you reach a quite dramatic point where if you are something sensitive you will end up releasing the odd tear.

Speaking a bit about the characters, they are mostly very basic, considering that we deal with the typical stereotypes of teenagers in high school. But this is why I wanted to divide it among Simon's friends and family.

Friends become automatically close, between jokes and confidence, making you wish for such nice companions.

Another important point in my opinion is the family, as friends can be endearing, they play perhaps a more important role from the whole situation of the protagonist.

And finally I wanted to talk about one of the best things to highlight in this film, which is the soundtrack, from the alternative rock band The 1975 to the classic Jackson 5. And other songs that were written exclusively for this film, as is the case of Love Lies by Khalid and Normani, and Strawberries & Cigarettes by Troye Sivan.

In short, it is a very entertaining tape to watch and that somehow you will touch. I hope you have fun watching her or if you already saw her tell me what you thought. I would love to hear your opinion. I'll be reading!
