The Space Between Us - Movies Review
The film tells Gardner Elliot (Asa Butterfield), the first man born on Mars. His mother, Sarah Elliot (Janet Montgomery), is not aware of being pregnant while performing her first mission as an astronaut to prove human beings can settle on the red planet.
Through a hard struggle, Sarah managed to deliver Gardner despite her life instead. For 16 years, Gardner grew up under the care of Nathaniel Shepherd (Gary Oldman) and Kendra (Carla Gugino) as the person in charge of Gardner. In addition to offering a fairly unique storyline, cinematography is also very good and presented with conditions and facts that really resemble the original.
After the age of 16, Gardner has a desire to find out who his father is. In search of who his father was through internet networks, Gardner baseball accidentally met and talked through video chat with a beautiful teenager and clever Colorado named Tulsa (Britt Robertson).
The chat relationship is getting them closer. There arose Gardner's strong desire to go to Earth to search further on his father and meet Tulsa. Thanks to the support of the NASA team, Gardner finally had the opportunity to visit Earth for the first time.
With great effort and near failure Gardner managed to meet Tulsa. Gardner's efforts included various ways to adapt to the unfamiliar environment of the earth, including by wearing sunglasses to protect his eyes.
Tulsa, who really understands Gardner who is a human from Planet Mars, immediately invited him to go around the earth and see what so far only Gardner read in books in the Lab Mars. The journey leads them to enjoy the life of the earth which also makes their love relationship closer and growing.
The storyline of the movie The Space Between Us began to approach the climax. Later known that Gardner baseball can linger on earth. This is because the lungs and heart that baseball can adapt completely to the atmosphere on earth. With all the limitations of that time and for a sacrifice, Gardner finally sprawled out of power because of time out.
The Space Between Us film contains a combination of science fiction and romance. Even though director Peter Chelsom packs his visuals well, much of the content is not logical enough to make this movie less well responded by the audience and critics on a number of reviews pages.
One example of non-logicality is when the Genesis technology company with NASA is so easy to send astronauts back and forth to Mars. Although Mars is the second closest planet to Earth, the distance between the two is actually constantly changing as the two planets move in their respective orbits around the sun. Therefore, all these unique stories without the foundations of science seem to be the only setting for romance between Gardner and Tulsa.
However, the acting of the characters baseball can be called bad. Most baseball, the film for 17 years and over that will soon appear in Indonesia is reminiscent of Earth's inhabitants to enggak forgot to give thanks for the colorful life on the beloved planet.
Well, how? It's not satisfied baseball ya if only know some plot story. So any curious who must certainly watch this movie directly. In addition to a unique story, Although the story line contained in the film The Space Between Us is fiction and baseball reasonable, but that does not mean the film is not good baseball.
