Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2019 s Pen one week usage
The purchase price is 259,000 won to a few hundred won. (Domestic regular wi-fi version) The lami-s pen that is received as a gift is sold to the used country and the actual expenditure is about 220,000 won. I bought it because it is suitable for moderate performance but it is low price and it is not bought by supporting the pen. I think this is cheaper than the Chinese tab.
My first impression is ... I'm honestly Chinese. The Samsung tablet does not feel much. I think I put only the pen function in the OEM product made in China factory.
The performance is better than the SD625 (compared to the tablet or smartphone I've been using), and it's lower than the SD660. SD636 would not be enough, and 3GB of RAM is too bad. The storage space is only 32GB, but for personal use, no problem at all, I write about microSD 128. I do not like extinos at all, but it's no problem playing a casual game or browsing dozens of MB photo files.
The charge rate is manageable and it seems to go over 7 ~ 8 hours if it is fully charged. Standby power consumption is also fine. (The biggest problem with Chinese taps is power leakage.) USB is Type-C. It does not support USB 3.0 or 3.1. When I connected to the USB3.0 port, I grumble.
Other OS and native apps are just plain. It is not too much, it is not clean, and it is just low-priced Galaxy product.
It is not always supported such as always on, and unlocking is only facial recognition (of course, PIN is possible). I heard that only the LTE version is equipped with a vibration motor.
The camera is really bad. It does not seem to be any different from the ones with cheap Chinese tablets. It does not reach the camera of intermediate Chinese phones. I just recommend you to use it because you think it is a camera without a camera.
s Pen is the same as that of Galaxy Note 7/8. I bought this s-pen plus (ver 1.0) when I bought this old notebook FE and looked at it, and it says that I recycled the pen of note 7. (I have heard that it is the same model for note 8 and it is not compatible from note 9.) It's a s-pen for the Galaxy Tab. The color is only slightly different from the color comparison.
(When you disassemble the s-pen plus, the s pen is in the bucket.) The structure is brittle, the eraser button does not work well, and the weight / balance feeling is not good.
s Pen performance is just about the same. It is difficult to compare because I have not used a lot of other devices, but it does not seem much different from the note FE. I do not really use it. Samsung memo app is the same and so on
(I know that the s-pen plus version 1 was sprinkled at 30,000 won, but it's really no big deal, I just put the old s pen on a rough case, I know version 2 is well made, It is very light, but it should be nice to have a little weight, it is awkward to use writing pen because it has a little touch area like a fountain pen.
My favorite feature is the screen gesture, which minimizes the navigation bar. It is a tendency to remove the old HW buttons, but when I switch to the SW button, most of the navigation buttons are fixed at the bottom of the LCD to occupy space or hide when not in use. There is also a way to write a gesture like Xiao Mipon, but it is also a bit inconvenient. However, the screen gesture method is surprisingly good (though the way of the Galaxy Tablet is nowadays). It occupies a very small space (height) and always has buttons floating, easy to operate and fewer errors. s I like this feature better than a pen. Oh my
(Three white translucent horizontal lines at the bottom are gesture buttons.
(This is the setting screen)
In conclusion, if you want a low-cost, small Android tablet, that's a good choice. It is different from the uncomfortable Chinese tablet, and the price is cheap. It is also a big advantage that it is a domestic release product, and it is a better choice if you need s pen. I was hoping to get the LTE version, but I can not afford to use it and I can not afford to use the data. I just bought the Wi-Fi version because I think it's efficient to use it as a main phone (this is dual woofer) and Bluetooth pairing. It was also said that other LTE versions should not be released in Korea.
