Anti-corruption protests in Bucharest - Romania. More than 50.000 people ..
I am not affiliated with any political party. I just came back home ( Bucharest ) to see my parents and I joined the protest with young kids and seniors together walking in a crowd and singing against government moves who would put the justice system partially under political control.
At the same time, we were also against moves to decriminalize some lower-level corruption offenses - a battle that has been going on for a year.
I am proud of my country today, we ask the European Union to use all of its power to trample over the corrupt politicians in Romania and to help us send them to jail. We are building political alternatives to the former communists, Romanians support justice and the European Union. We demand a strong rule of law. We are not a nation of thieves!

This is an example how a truly civilized country should behave! Congratulations Romania! I hope they succeede in their attempt to clean up corruption from the government structures!
