As I recall, wasn't the powerdown period two years at some point? It would be really hard to "dump" if it were to take two years to get your hands on the Steem to dump...
This place thoroughly shot itself in the foot when the focus of it became "Come to Steemit and MAKE MONEY" rather than "Come to Steemit and BUILD STAKE in the community."
"Free money" is and always has been (and I don't just mean here) has always been the weakest and most destructive marketing approach.
Lol, of course it was, it was ned's job to insure that we didn't succeed in changing the bankster paradigm.
Why else would he act against better judgement for what is 'good' for steem?
