To be completely honest, the technology behind Ripple is leagues ahead of some of the other currencies from what I recall. I watched an youtube video of one of its founders and was impressed. However, I think the whole nature of cryptos being decentralized and a way to kick banks out of the picture leads people to stay away from Ripple. I don't remember seeing many pro ripple comments on various forums.
