Why Do People Hate Ripple?
In today's we we talk about ripple and why so many people hate ripple. First off, Ripple is not a cryptocurrency that is universally hated. However, Ripple is a cryptocurrency that does have a lot of people who support it and a lot of people who would not touch or invest in Ripple for any reason. Ripple is a bankers coin and it is the most centralized cryptocurrency out there. Some people do not consider Ripple to be a true cryptocurrency. Ripple goes against the mission of cryptocurrencies, which is to get us away from the big banks and to put us in control of our own wealth. Nah, I'll always pass XRP. There's plenty of other great projects like NEO, ETH, OMG, QSP, Chainlink ... why bother with Ripple LOL. It does NOTHING, that all the other cryptos already do way better.
Cos it's centralized bullshit with over 50% of supply held by the company. Simple.
It's like betting on a horse. You don't own it, you don't get any of their winnings (profits), and you don't get to ride (aka use) it. You are merely betting on if they do well with the other investors on the exchanges. You don't own Ripple or have any share in it's profits. We can't use it or own it.
The founders have said themselves they can't have volatility in the market which is why they keep the market flooded & intend to continue to do so. Their customers (banks) can't send money at one price and have it show up as another price. And as you said they don't use Ripple themselves even. It's merely a lack of understanding how it works & FOMO that drives the price. It is a bubble that will come down eventually as more and more people start to understand how and why it was built and is used.
