Be Ware its happening everywhere
“Yesterday after finishing grocery shopping, I was about to start my car when I noticed a €50 note stuck under the windshield wiper. At first, I thought about getting out of the car to pick it up, but something felt strange and suspicious, so I decided not to step out. A few moments later, just as I was about to start the car, a man quickly approached and repeatedly gestured toward the windshield, telling me to get out and pick up the money. However, I didn’t open the door or lower the window. Instead, I immediately started the car and drove away.
Later, someone shared this incident with a photo in a group, and after searching online I found that this is becoming a common scam. Thieves place money or some object on the windshield so the driver gets out of the car, and during that moment they steal a bag, phone, or other valuables from inside the vehicle.
So, as a precaution, everyone—especially women—should lock their car doors immediately after sitting inside. If you see money or any suspicious object on your windshield, don’t rush out to grab it like birds getting trapped by bait.
Stay cautious and share this message with others as well. And honestly tell me: if you saw such a note on your car windshield, what would your reaction be?”
