Razer launches an AI Companion called Project AVA

They thought, people are increasingly lonely and alone in their rooms, why not create companions for these people to feel a little better and maybe make some advertisements and try to influence these people? So they created this AI that has cameras and will monitor you while it is turned on, nothing that your cellphone doesn’t already do.

Project AVA was not the first to create something like this, the Japanese startup Vinclu Inc created a similar idea in 2014(2019), the GateBox hologram, however focused only on the Japanese market.

I believe that from now on more and more similar projects will emerge, because in some countries the number of single men exceeds 50% of people in the same age group.
