Roman Openwork Cart Attachment

ca. 3rd Century AD. The openwork disk with central decorative silver medallion of a facing right head, a shaft connecting to a plate with loop projection below, presumably for attachment. Acquired late 1990s. H. 6". Dia. 3 1/2".
