The plaza hotel looks nothing like the hotel from home alone

During my trip to New York over the summer and noticed the plaza hotel from the Home Alone movie. Simply put it looks nothing at all like the movie on the inside i tried to film but the staff were dicks to me i got a video but it will only let me post pictures if any one is curious.
