Hello friend. A horse is a wonderful pet; I've heard that they form such a strong bond with their owners that when one of them is gone, the other is deeply saddened.

It's great that you can share that passion for horses with your son; it will certainly be a good reason to have one in the future. But as you mention, space and knowledge are necessary, because they must be very well cared for to keep them healthy.

I hope that at some point you will have the opportunity to enjoy the company of your own horse; I'm sure it will be fantastic for you and your family too.
