🤖 How AI Became Part of My Everyday Life and My Steemit Journey

Steemit Challenge Season 34 — #s34challenge001

When I first started using AI, I thought it was mainly a tool for answering questions.

Ask something.

Get an answer.

Move on.

But over time, I discovered that AI could be much more useful than that.

Today, AI has become a practical part of my everyday life and my workflow, especially when I am working on content for Steemit, learning new skills, solving problems and experimenting with technology.

However, I have also learned something very important:

AI can help me create and work faster, but it should not replace my own thinking.

✍️ How I Use AI for Steemit

One of the biggest ways I use AI is when I have an idea for an article but don't yet know how to develop it.

Sometimes I know the topic, but I need a stronger title.

Sometimes I have a title but don't know which angle would make people interested.

Sometimes I know the information, but the article feels boring.

AI helps me explore these possibilities.

I can discuss different headlines, structures, questions and perspectives before deciding what I actually want to publish.

For me, this is one of the biggest advantages of AI.

It helps me turn a simple idea into a more organised concept.

But I still decide what I want the final article to say.

💻 AI Helped Me Start Learning Programming

Another major way AI has changed my life is through programming.

I started learning programming with the help of AI, including trying to understand Python.

I want to be honest here:

I still don't know Python properly.

There are many things in Python that I am still learning, and sometimes I don't fully understand every part of the code.

But AI has made the learning process much easier for me.

Instead of getting completely stuck on a problem, I can ask AI what a piece of code does, why an error is appearing, or how a basic programming task can be handled.

This gives me a way to keep moving forward instead of abandoning the task because I don't know every technical detail yet.

🧠 AI Handles the Basic Work, While I Focus on the Important Part

One thing I have particularly noticed is that, for many basic programming tasks, I don't always need to manually change every single word or line myself.

For example, when I am working on a basic script, I can explain what I want the program to do and let AI help with the repetitive or simpler parts.

That doesn't mean I blindly accept whatever it produces.

I normally focus more of my attention on the important logic, the purpose of the program and the final result, while AI can handle some of the basic work.

If AI makes a mistake, I can identify it, ask why it happened, and then correct it.

Sometimes I also make the correction myself after understanding the problem.

So my relationship with AI is not:

“AI does everything for me.”

It is more like:

“AI helps me handle the parts I don't need to spend all my time doing manually.”

That saves me a lot of time.

Instead of spending all my energy on repetitive basic programming work, I can give more attention to different tasks at the same time.

And that is one of the biggest practical benefits AI has given me.

⏳ AI Helps Me Save Time

This time-saving aspect has become very important.

Normally, if I had to manually solve every small problem, write every basic piece of code, research every question and organise every idea separately, I would need much more time.

With AI, I can divide the work.

I can concentrate on the parts that need my attention.

AI can assist with the basic or repetitive parts.

Then I review the result.

This allows me to work on several different things more efficiently without feeling like every small task is consuming all of my time.

For me, this doesn't mean doing less work.

It means using my time more intelligently.

📰 AI and News Articles

I also find AI useful when working with current topics.

Instead of looking at a news story only as a headline, I can explore questions such as:

Why does this story matter?

How could it affect ordinary people?

What are the different sides of the issue?

What questions could start a useful discussion?

This makes the article more than a collection of facts.

It can become a conversation.

However, I don't think we should blindly trust AI with current information.

News can change quickly.

Facts can be incomplete.

And AI can sometimes make mistakes.

That means important information still needs to be checked against reliable sources.

🎨 AI and Images

Another area where AI has become extremely useful for me is visual content.

A good article can become much more engaging when the images actually match the story.

I can take an idea such as a flood, earthquake, technological development or geopolitical event and turn it into a detailed visual concept.

This helps me think about the story visually rather than only through text.

For me, that makes content creation more creative.

🧠 AI as a Learning Partner

AI is also useful outside writing and programming.

When I don't understand a subject, I can ask AI to explain it in simple language.

Then I can ask another question.

Then another.

This makes learning interactive.

Instead of simply reading one explanation, I can continue exploring the subject until I understand it better.

Sometimes the most useful thing AI gives me isn't an answer.

It gives me another question to think about.

That is something I value a lot.

⚠️ But AI Has a Dangerous Side

The more I use AI, the more I realise that it can also create problems.

If someone accepts every AI answer without checking it, misinformation can spread very quickly.

If someone uses AI to do all their thinking, they may gradually stop developing their own judgement.

And if someone uses AI to create fake experiences, fake opinions or meaningless comments, the content may look polished but lose its human value.

This is especially important on a platform such as Steemit.

A meaningful comment should come from a genuine reader.

A real discussion needs real opinions.

AI can help us improve our communication and work, but it should not replace authentic human interaction.

⚖️ I Don't Let AI Make the Final Decision

This is probably the most important rule I have developed for myself.

I can ask AI for an answer.

I can ask it to write code.

I can ask it to explain something.

I can ask it to suggest solutions.

But I remain the final decision maker.

If AI gives me something that is wrong, I don't simply accept it.

I check it.

I question it.

I change it.

And when necessary, I correct it myself.

This is especially important in programming.

AI may produce code that looks correct but contains an error or does something differently from what I intended.

So I don't think the right approach is to completely trust AI.

The better approach is to use AI as an assistant and keep control of the final result.

AI assists me. I decide.

That simple principle works for me.

🔄 AI Has Changed the Way I Divide My Work

Before using AI, some tasks required me to spend a lot of time on small details.

Now I can divide my attention differently.

For example, I might focus on the main idea of an article while AI helps me organise a structure.

I might focus on the logic of a programming task while AI helps with basic syntax.

I might focus on solving a problem while AI helps me explore possible approaches.

This reduces the amount of time I spend jumping between many small tasks.

It also gives me more mental space for the things where my own judgement really matters.

🚀 What Has AI Changed For Me?

The biggest change is speed.

A task that might once have taken much longer can now be explored much faster.

But speed is not the only advantage.

AI has also made experimentation easier.

I can test an idea.

Change the angle.

Ask a different question.

Try another structure.

Write a small piece of code.

Fix an error.

Then try again.

That encourages creativity and learning.

And perhaps most importantly, it has made some things that previously felt difficult feel more approachable.

Python is a good example.

I am still learning.

I am still making mistakes.

I still don't know many things.

But AI has helped me continue instead of giving up.

🌍 What I Think About the Future

I don't believe the most important question is:

“Will AI replace humans?”

I think a better question is:

“What can humans do better because AI exists?”

The people who learn to use AI responsibly may become faster, more creative and more efficient.

But people who blindly depend on it may lose important skills.

So I believe the future should be a partnership.

Human thinking + AI assistance.

Not AI alone.
