Both the Admiral and myself had a wonderful sleep. The silence and gentle rocking of the waves had us not rising until mid-morning. Pierre had a couple of nice flights with his drone; which has become a new hobby. He got good overview footage of our surroundings at the Lynch Island MICA mooring ball.

After a lunch we were finally ready to depart by about 13:00. With no particular place in mind, we let the wind decide; taking a beam reach whenever possible. This took us mostly northeasterly across the Bay until finally arriving at the northern end of its entrance... or its exit as the case happened to be.

The Admiral started sailing on the lake of his parent's cottage. He spread out into the Great Lakes once out of the family home. He has also sailed in Florida often; yet he is fairly new sailing in the waters of the North Atlantic which Nova Scotia provides. The Atlantic Swell is catching his interest of late so we sailed off into it for a few miles until the ocean swell became more evident.

The homeward tack brought us back to the southern end of the Bay's entrance.

We then followed on to my mooring ball just off of the town of Mahone Bay. The sun had just set when we finally got home for the night.

The next morning found a wind had already picked up, yet we both thought a breakfast in town was a good idea; as was a shower and a visit to the grocery for more supplies.

We wasted as little time as possible and we were sailing off our mooring ball before noon.

The wind could not have been kinder. Although the course took a "C" type of passage we rarely lost a beem reach and were able to sail right into Lunenburg's Harbor near enough to where we dropped anchor.

Fish had been off the menu of late so we decided to dinghy it to town and hit the Fish Shack. The serving size and freshness of the haddock was outstanding. We rolled down the hill to the dinghy dock on our extended bellies and headed back to Makina.

Another wonderfull sail through paradise!
