generally the land on the starboard side has road connections, while the land on the port side either has no road connections, or only by ferry.
So how long would it take to drive from the side that has the ferries to the side that has the bridges @tobixen?

I suppose the ferry spend more time loading and unloading than actually crossing the sound.
