Sardinia's Best Beaches
Sardinia is the largest island in Italy. And it is well known for it's great food and wonderful beaches. But these beaches are often overcrowded and some even require expensive fees for space or umbrellas.
I am here to tell you about the secret little island next to Sardinia that will blow you away ! It's called the Isola di San Pietro and is located a few miles off the southwest coast of Sardinia. it is only reachable by ferry (Delcomar), has only one town (Carloforte) but it is home to about a dozen truly pristine beaches that will have you mesmerized.
Now, I visited in September and had a wonderful time. I tried a different beach every day and never got bored. Some beaches do not have a snack shop while others do so pack a lunch and water and your ready for anything. Some will make you feel like you have the entire beach to yourself !
Getting Around is Easy !
You can rent a scooter or a bike and ride to the beaches in a matter of minutes. You might even try one beach in the morning and another in the afternoon.
The water is crystal clear and is still around 25C (77F) well into early October.
So ! If you want an adventure to a place not many people know about, have a look at the Isola di San Pietro off Sardinia. It is well worth the visit. See my YouTube video covering many of these beautiful beaches.
