Remember God When You Are Blessed

Then he told them a parable. He said, “The land of a certain rich man produced good crops. So he began to think to himself, ‘What should I do, since I have no place to store my crops?’ Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and I’ll store all my grain and goods in them. Then I’ll say to myself, “You’ve stored up plenty of good things for many years. Take it easy, eat, drink, and enjoy yourself.”’ But God told him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded back from you. Now who will get the things you’ve accumulated?’ That’s how it is with the person who stores up treasures for himself rather than with God. Luke 12:16-21

God hates it when we quickly forget Him when times are good. There are many people who easily forgets where the Lord picked them and changed their story.

Many people are like the rich man that Jesus talked about. When he was blessed he forgot the giver of the wealth and thought about himself first.

Enriching himself with all the goods he has stored for years was his priority now. God became angry not becuase of the wealth or his success but becuase he forgot others and only thought himself.

We can't live like this man that the bible described as a fool. God doesn't bless us just to store only for ourselves but to be used to promote His agenda in order to give him glory.

The Lord has blessed us in many ways but it is not only for us but for others as well. The moment we begin to think only about ourselves and neglect others is the moment we forget God. God always have in mind others before giving you anything.

He wants us to lend a helping hand to the needy and the less privilege because we are His physical hands. He wants us to see the situation or conditions of others and be of help because we are His physical eyes.

People in need always blame God for negelcting them becuase those who have been blessed by God refused to help them and instead have kept the wealth only for themselves. The reason you are blessed is for others sake and not only for yourself.

Let's remember the giver and all the blessings we have received and used it for His glory.
