DAY 1 DAILY CHRISTIAN ROD (15/06/2018). GIVE ME THE SIGN OF YOUR GOODNESS OH LORD

INTRODUCTION

God does not leave His people without the sign of His presence,goodness and care at any given time. He is always showing that He is concerned about them. He meets with them with the bestowing of His goodness on them. He provides for their needs like food,shelter and clothing in all levels and implications. The psalmist confirms this that there is always the fullness of joy in His presence. His meeting with His people is always characterized with joy and praise.
What have been your feelings about His presence? Those who desire to meet with Him have tasted of His divine blessing in the past when they last met with Him. Build your blessed experience in this season by continually dwelling in His presence. He never forsake anyone that comes to Him. When we continue to meet with Him in Holiness of life,He will continue to give us the sign of His goodness.

How do you desire to meet with Him this season? Your testimonies before Him will be made full. Be Holy always as if He is your ever present companion. Desire something good and great anytime you feel His presence and you will ever be grateful to Him before other people. The Lord will meet you with His sign of goodness in this season.

TODAY'S WORD

"Give me a sign of your goodness,that my enemies may see it and be put to shame,for you,Oh Lord,have helped me and comforted."(Psalm 86:17)

Sign is a reference to evidence. If God gives a sign of His goodness, it implies that He give something concrete to show that He is good. Who ever sees the goodness of the Lord has His favour. Seeing the signs of His goodness is a way to make the enemies bow in shame. Are there people boasting that you cannot be helped? Lift your eyes to the Lord who give you the sign of His goodness by helping you out of your trouble. You will be comforted with His favour.

Thought for today: The goodness of the Lord brings comfort to the righteous and shame to the enemies.

Prayer: O Lord,give me a sign of your goodness. Arise and help me out of my trouble. Shame the enemies that are thinking there is no help for me. Comfort me with your goodness in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
