Lesson 100: The sovereignty of God and his eternal kingdom.
Source
To all the holy brothers of the blockchain, greetings and blessings of God Almighty Father.
To continue with the lessons of personal and spiritual growth, I dedicate on this occasion a new lesson based on the sovereignty of God and his eternal Kingdom. As we well know, God's dominion is transcendent; his kingdom is subject to divine will, word and action; His authority is based on his preexistence and holiness.
God is the creator of all things and all things that exist for Him were made.
Genesis 1: 1 King James Version (NIV)
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
The inevitable starting point to study the theme "The sovereignty of God and his eternal Kingdom" is the initial verse of the Bible. Here we find the sovereign of the entire universe, whose reign and government are described from the beginning.
1 His kingdom (that is, the extent of his sovereignty) is transcendent:
The Kingdom of God not only includes the entire physical universe, but exceeds it. It existed before all creation, transcends it and, by virtue of having created it, everything that exists is in Him.
2 His reign (or the power by which he governs) is exercised by his will, his word and his deeds.
By his creative will God designs and decides; by his word he gives existence to creation, and by his works, his Spirit demonstrates his unlimited power.
3 Your government (or authority to govern) resides in its preexistence and holiness.
He is before creation, "in the beginning." As creator, the government of the created must be in your hands. His benevolent intention to create "good" things reveals his holy nature (that is, complete and perfect), which confirms his moral right to govern creation. All authority, kingdom and power flow from God.
