JESUS WINS TO REINFECT OUR VISION

Source
That vision so wrong and lost that we had about things that are really important in our lives. For example, in the Gospel of Matthew 5 there are some phrases of Jesus known as the ... "You heard that it was said" that they are nothing more than this: a refocusing of our vision and the misunderstanding we had of some things.
Go with me there; for example, Matthew 5.21-22 ... "21 You have heard that it was said to the ancients: Thou shalt not kill; and whoever kills will be guilty of judgment. 22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother will be guilty of judgment "; that is, it is not only bad to KILL before the eyes of God; neither does God like you to live angry with your brother / sister. READ, v.23-24 ... "23Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, 24 put your offering there before the altar, and go, be reconciled first with your brother, and then come and present your offering. " If it is important not to kill, it is also important to reconcile with those who are angry. Refocusing of vision
Matthew 5.27-28 ... "27You have heard that it was said: You will not commit adultery. 28But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. " Here Jesus is reaffirming that adultery does not please God, BUT it is also saying that from the moment we look at someone with lust, with the desire to have it, to possess it being alien, we are already adulterating! Refocus your vision of things.
Matthew 5.38-39 ... "38You have heard that it was said: An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. 39But I say to you: Do not resist the one who is evil; Before, anyone who wounds you on the right cheek, turn the other one back. " In other words, the world lives under "The Law of Talon", which is what is mentioned here of "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth", that is, whoever does you wrong, pay him with the same coin. BUT Jesus said that it is not under this law of the world that Christians should live, but under the law of love and forgiveness, even for enemies, which is what v.43-44 tells us in the same way. Refocusing of vision
And the same thing happened when he talked about Saturday and I broke down all those misconceptions that nothing could be done, even if it was to help someone or because he was in danger, while on the other hand hypocritically when some of them had some necessity then yes it did, yes it moved. That is why he said, Mark 2.27 ... "The sabbath was made for the sake of man, and not man for the sake of the Sabbath"
That is, the Sabbath or Sabbath was instituted by God to be a blessing to the man, not to become a heavy burden and difficult to carry, as had happened in Jesus' time. That is why the Lord corrects the vision: keeping the Sabbath or Sabbath is still important, but more important is NOT to put aside mercy and love, and to help those who need it and not be as "legalistic" as sometimes. we are ... are you understanding?
There was also an occasion when the scribes and Pharisees came scandalized to Jesus because his disciples had not followed the ritual of washing their hands before eating as prescribed by Jewish law, and that contaminated them, made them "impure"! And now watch how Jesus corrects the very wrong vision they had of the things of God. Matthew 15.10-11 ... "10Y calling the multitude to himself, said to them: Hear, and understand: 11No what enters the mouth contaminates the man; But what comes out of the mouth, this pollutes the man "... v.17-20: ..." 17Do not you understand that everything that enters the mouth goes to the belly, and is thrown into the latrine? 18 But what comes out of the mouth, out of the heart comes out; and this contaminates man. 19For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies. 20 These things are what defile a man; but eating with unwashed hands does not contaminate man "; In other words, instead of looking so much at the external, take care of your interior, your heart, what's there, because that's where the bad comes from. If something is wrong on the outside it is because something is wrong inside.
We could continue, but I would like to tell you very clearly in case you have not got the message yet: when something is refocused and corrected it is because it has left where it should be and it is not what it should be; it is because preference, priority and importance have been given to what does not have it, and the most important thing has been left aside.
I want you to think: the best is NOT what Christ already did when he was on this earth; refocusing and correcting our wrong vision of things. The best is that,
CHRIST WANTS TO CONTINUE RE-FOCUSING OUR VISION OF THINGS TODAY:
And that goes from the personal plane, to the family and to all of us also as a church. Maybe you, in your personal life TODAY, you have out of focus of God and the things of God. Tell me, be honest ... is that what is happening right now in your life? ... to seek God in prayer, to be present at a vigil, a time of ministry, a house of prayer, to read the Bible, to come to church, to praise God with passion, with fervor, to speak of Christ with others, to serve to those who need it or to serve God in a ministry of the church ... those things are still important to you, a matter of priority for your life, or ... today you have to admit that you have defocused those things "a little", or "A pocon", that is, enough ?. If so, today I tell you from God that He wants to refocus your vision so that you can dedicate yourself to God and focus on your things as they should be, as you need them!

True @susanalara God wants us to keep our spiritual eyes open and focused on vision.
