Marina Abramović...... Rhythm 0

The most terrifying act performed by Marina Abramović, truely explains the human nature.
Marina Abramović, a Yugoslav performance artist, also known as "grandmother of performance art". That performance art was named as Rhythm 0 in 1974 was a six-hour work in Studio Morra, Naples, Italy. This was an experimental act to examine people's tought when they are set free.
The instruction of the acts was that She would stand still for six hrs straight while the people who came to see her were allowed to do whatever they want to her using any of the 72 objects like rose, feathers, chain and even gun. That she had placed on a table and even considering herself as a object.

At first only the photographers were close to her click picture. After that the terrible wild things started.

Few people started picking up some tools from the table. They pour water on her, changed her position, lifed her and made her sit in chair, started tagging things to her.

Someone turned her around, Some thrust her arms into the air, few even touched her somewhat intimately.
From the 3rd hour more cruelty started...... all of her clothes were cut from her with razor blades and knives.

In the 4th hour, the same began to cut her skin using blades. Along with that Various minor sexual assaults were carried out on her body and She was so much committed that she didnot resisted any of them.
Some stuck thorns of rose in her stomach, and made her aimed the gun to her head.
And lastly some undressed her, gropped her and touched her.
When the six hours were over, marina Abramovic started to walk among the people over there.

All the audience came to sense seeing her moving, horrified to remember that they.'d been dealing with a living human being all along not any object. They couldn't confront the traces or marks of torture they left on her body ,and couldn't face their on horrifying act. They couldn't look into her face. As she walked towards them dripping with blood all over body and tears, they all ran from her in shame and guilt.
This act clearly states that we human nature find happiness in destruction and cruelty.
