Putting An End To Plagiarism on Dtube!
I've touched up on the subject of users trying to gain rewards by stealing others videos and reposting it on Dtube in one of my past videos. You made some good suggested which led me to the idea of @dcleaners. One account that will flag all abusers on the blacklist which can then be followed along by anyone in the community willing to donate their VP to help get rid of the abusers through flagging accompanied by comments explaining what is the reason behind the flags.
While we are waiting for the flag feature to be implemented on SteemAuto, you will have to flag manually. I suggest only using 1% downvotes because power is not what I'm looking for but sheer number of people downvoting. These scammers rarely get even a couple cents on their reposts so, spending more than 1% of your VP is an overkill.
5 or 10 people downvoting, instead of just one, gives out a much stronger message. I had near 100% killrate alone but, it took me a couple attempts with some users. Having multiple people flagging by my side, in the same time will surely be 100% effective.
The only real challange will be to manually find that stolen content
Whenever you see a plagiarised video on Dtube simply, mention @dcleaners.

Good call! I honestly never thought of the fact that some people just steel videos and post them here on Dtube, but now you mention it does it make sense yeah. And i must confess from the above 100 videos i created and uploaded here, are maybe a handful of videos taken from youtube what is related with the topics i made videos about. But before i do that, do i send the original owner a message that im uploading videos to dtube. And then i explain about Steemit, to invite them to steemit. I think every content creator should do that if they take a video from youtube, they should ask the owner and invite them to steemit. But to steel and spam upload here on DTube and then use all the space what other creative content creators use, is very wrong yes.
Like on this moment im working on many videos and sometimes im more than 3 hours busy with one video, depends on how big the video is. And then some bloke comes along, steels a video of youtube and upload it here within 10 minutes and use all space for that?? Yeah now i think about it, that really sucks ye. So il keep a eye on it!
While im reading all this, then copy right option comes in my mind, i think DTube should have that to!
Thanks for being so honest and realizing how this is hurting the blockchain and the content creators who try to produce original work for Dtube. Imo, Dtube should be doing this on their own but, since they are not, I we have to step in and solve this as a community.
@dcleaners is just a kickstarter to what I hope will be a major movement on Dtube which will send out a message to the abusers loud and clear. Stop what you are doing right now and start producing original content, or have all of your payouts declined and reputation ruined.

I think since your bot is commenting we may be able to devise a mutually beneficial arrangement if you are interested. Flagging abuse and getting upvotes is SO MUCH cooler than self-voting. Feels good!

It's not a bot :D All of the work will be done manually for now. But at some time, maybe when the blacklist grows a little, I may turn it into a bot.

Wholy crap, what an amazing way to fix this! This is one of the HUGE problems with YouTube! So much crap is on there, quality content gets overlooked.

Yeah, the amount of crap being posted here by these abusers is unbelievable . And yes, as you said, it makes it harder for the good content to be seen.

Thank you, @runicar, for making this video. Every time I see plagiarized content on my recommended feed my blood pressure goes up. This is the exact problem, which YouTube has in spades, that we are trying to prevent here on DTube. Count me in as a member of the team. I would like nothing more than to cull the herd of these abusive and low-quality scammers. Let me at 'em, let me at 'em!

There is no trail yet. As for now, users are invited to flagg scammers on the blacklist provided by @dcleaners in the intro post.

As far as I can see they didn't have any offenses with Dtube. @dcleaners is exclusive for abusers who repost stolen content on Dtube.
There are already many spam/abuse prevention projects for articles but none, as far as I know, for Dtube videos.
Oh I know. But I meant that I'm happy there is now something for dtube too. As for the others are projects like that.
