Agreed. And the ones not coming from entitlement are often soooo stretched and under-resourced, often as solo parents barely 'making it', that they're too overwhelmed and can't step back to see the bigger picture. To their children's detriment.

exactly...the bigger picture is (somewhere understable) not to be seen but also not seen on how this will effect the kids on the end...
I am honestly glad I am not too much involved in this debate to be honest, because I would get super upset by it
