Students are taught that the Constitution
Republic Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year on January 26th. On this day, in 1950, the Constitution of India came into effect, making our country a full republic. In schools, this day is a golden opportunity to instill a sense of national unity and discipline in students.
The Joy of Celebration at School
For students, the day begins with arriving at school in the bitter cold of the morning, wearing white uniforms. The main celebration activities are as follows:
Flag Hoisting: The principal hoists the tricolor, after which all students proudly sing "Jana Gana Mana." The national anthem resounds in the air, filling every child with a sense of patriotism.
Cultural Programs: Children participate in colorful programs. Some dress up as "Bhagat Singh" and others as "Queen of Jhansi." Students showcase their talents through dance and speech competitions to patriotic songs.
Prabhat Pheri: In many schools, students take out Prabhat Pheri in the settlements with the tricolour in their hands, due to which the slogans of "Jai Hind" echo in the entire atmosphere.
