A Clear and Present Lip Service

"A person's word should be their bond!"

That's what Marvin the Mule Sez!

Many times in life I have met people that give me Lip Service.
You know, when they tell you what they think you want to hear.
I can't stand that! The truth I can deal with. I might not like it but I can deal with it.
Once I understand this about a person, their value goes down for the simple fact that I know it for what it is.

It's like being on the beach. You have this image of a person as a sand castle standing proudly in the sun.

When this person is dishonest, in any form, it's like a wave comes in and your sand castle starts changing and with every deceit
the image slowly fades away.

Lip Service.
Talking behind someone's back.
Spreading lies.
Being malicious.
Deceit.
The list goes on......

All of these little "sins" we have, and I don't mean that in the "religious" sense.

All of these little sins can be cured with one small adjustment to the program running inside of your head called U.

Like I have always said, "If you don't like the tape running in your head, put a new one in." (think VHS)

It's called Honesty

Honestly!

I value honesty very highly.
Being honest is like writing with indelible ink.
You can't wash it out!

But, it is more than a record of who you are. It becomes a guide.
If you can become honest with yourself first, then honesty will guide you the rest of the way!

Think of yourself as a blockchain.
What unit of measure do you want to be filled with?
