[ Science Tutorial #3 ] - Control the objects with your mind power ! Part 1
Previously, I gave information about eeg and brain waves. As you know, eeg devices used in hospitals are professional and expensive devices. We need a cheaper and more portable device to read brain signals. You can use the NeuroSky Mindwave Mobile for your projects.
The Mindwave Mobile Brain Wave Reader is a device that can measure EEG signals from the brain developed by NeuroSky. By measuring the alpha and beta waves that your brain generates, you can transmit this data wirelessly to your computer or smartphone via Bluetooth. With this device you can measure attentiveness and calmness levels, you can observe the reaction of your brain while listening to your favorite music. With this device, you can communicate between your brain waves and your computer.
Just as you can see in the photo, you can place this device in your head as simple as wearing a headset and connect it to your earlobe, ready to work with the small earpiece.
With Mindwave, you can access more than 100 games, training programs and development tools via NeuroSky. It is possible to find various applications in iOS and Android markets. We will use the microcontroller to read the brain signals and control the objects.

We learned enough information about the device to use.
As I mentioned at the beginning of the article, we will use a microcontroller to control the objects. The microprocessor we use will be Arduino.
I will explain the microcontrollers and Arduino in the next article. I would be glad to answer your questions if you have a any. See you !
