I drive an electric car now (over 50,000 miles in 2 years with my Nissan Leaf) and i help power it with energy from my solar system on my house My system production over 5 1/2 years. I am nearly free of carbon energy control and now just need to work on my diet to reduce my carbon impact. Thus my electric is as green as i can make it at this moment in time.
Dare: my monthly gas bill is about $40 a month, electric bill non-existant!
wow your ahead of a lot of people, myself i went back to the basic human powered bicycle :)
