In the purest wall-e style our protagonist of today travels the deserts leaving behind a green trail, his name is A'seedbot and it is an autonomous robot, designed as a final degree project of a student of the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation, who is dedicated to planting seeds in deserts to turn them into an orchard.

Al más puro estilo wall-e nuestro protagonista de hoy recorre los desiertos dejando tras de sí un reguero verde, se llama A’seedbot y es un robot autónomo, diseñado como proyecto fin de carrera de un alumno del Instituto de Diseño e Innovación de Dubai, que se dedica a plantar semillas en los desiertos para convertirlos en un vergel.

It is an autonomous robot powered by solar energy that travels through the sand with a kind of propeller-shaped front legs and plants seeds with its rear part, the energy left over from the day stores it to be able to move at night studying the ground with its sensors to know the characteristics of the terrain.

Se trata de un robot autónomo alimentado por energía solar que recorre la arena con una especie de patas delanteras en forma de hélice y va plantando semillas con su parte trasera, la energía sobrante del día la almacena para poder moverse durante la noche estudiando el suelo con sus sensores para conocer las características del terreno.

This robot is designed longitudinally in three differentiated parts that are responsible for the functions of seeing, walking and sowing, in the front it has ultrasound sensors that allow it to evaluate the terrain and can move its "head" to look in various directions and choose the right way to go.

Este robot está diseñado longitudinalmente en tres partes diferenciadas que se encargan de las funciones de ver, andar y sembrar, en la parte delantera lleva sensores de ultrasonidos que le permiten evaluar el terreno y puede mover la "cabeza" para mirar en varias direcciones y elegir el camino correcto a seguir.

The gadget is equipped with an internal processing unit that allows it, once the path to be taken, to move with its front legs that allow it to move forward as well as change direction, once the robot finds the right place for sowing, the back part buries the seed in the ground.

El artilugio está dotado de una unidad de procesamiento interno que le permite, una vez elegido el camino a tomar, desplazarse con sus patas delanteras que le permiten tanto avanzar como cambiar de dirección, una vez que el robot encuentre el lugar adecuado para la siembra, la parte trasera entierra la semilla en la tierra.

A'seedbot does not get tired, does not get overwhelmed, does not get sick or never has a bad day despite working 24 hours and also does not ask for salary increases, there is no doubt that a small "herd" of these robots would be great help to reforest and replant all types of fertile land in an unattended way.

A'seedbot no se cansa, no se agobia, no se enferma ni tiene nunca un mal día a pesar de trabajar las 24 horas y además no pide aumentos de sueldo, no cabe duda que una pequeña "manada" de estos robots sería de gran ayuda para reforestar y replantar todo tipo de terrenos fértiles de manera desatendida.
