A scorpion turned entirely into copper (found in a mine in southern Arizona, US)

A slow process of copper-rich fluids coming into contact with a [somehow] entombed scorpion, depositing the metal. Fluids like that can occur naturally or possibly as a result of early (inefficient) smelting.
