Compassionate Love

There are many types of love. Romantic love, parental love, sibling love, the love between friends and there is compassionate love. Oh, and the love of one drunk for another.

Compassionate love is the highest love. It is love for all beings and life. Be kind to all beings, all creatures big and small whether they deserve your kindness or not. If your kindness reaches the deserving, good for you. If your kindness reaches the undeserving, take joy in your compassion. When we know ourselves to be connected to all others, acting compassionately is simply the natural thing to do.
