Seasons of life

There are 4 seasons in a year, winter, spring, summer and autumn. Each season brings different kind of feelings to different individuals. Some may feel joyful during winter, some may feel gloomy during winter.
In life, its the same, there are many seasons in life. Sometimes when the sun shines, it heat things up and days are brighter. When storm comes, its time for rearrangements, followed by the rain to wash away the pains and dirt. And when the leaves leave, they make place for a new beginning.
The year 2010, I remember that this was the year I first stepped into the City life In Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), for my first job in Kuala Lumpur. (btw, i am from a small town name Ipoh in Malaysia). I rented a Master Room in Petaling Jaya. And came to know 2 wonderful housemates.
Even though the house was not in great condition, I had a wonderful time and memories living in that house.
I have been through tough times, happy times and sad times in that house, together with my 2 housemates. I have been through season of being an employee to a business owner.
I have setup my own Martial arts training school since the year 2016. The training started at the park, and later moved to a Golf club in PJ, and finally running my own training centre. The journey was not easy, but it was satisfying.
Time flies, season pass, 8 years had just gone by. And its time for me to move on. The time for me to leave Malaysia was quite sudden, as i was being offered a job in Singapore. And most importantly, I can be with my life partner in Singapore. We have been maintaining a Long Distance Relationship for a year.
Closing down my training centre and business was the only option left for me. Most of my students were shocked and heart broken. Here are some photos of them, after one of my final class.
Leaving my centre, business and my students behind was a very tough decision to make, and it breaks my heart when i started selling all the equipments and furniture.
Finally, below are some pictures of my belongings, all stuffed into my car, preparing to leave Malaysia.
I know that after my depart, 2 of my housemates will face major changes in their life as well.
It has been 2 months since i have left Malaysia, I contacted my 2 housemates and found out that both of them have their Housing loan approved and will be moving out this year. And there will be new tenants taking over my master room.
Indeed, i am happy for both of them.
I do miss my room, my students, my best friends, my housemates and the nearby neighborhood. However, I need to move on to a new season of life. I told myself to embrace the season of life whether it is rain or sunshine, God is using it to shape us and prepare us for the future.
