May 2, 2020--Practice blog in the time of the virus
A fairly relaxing day. It began with a wonderful breakfast of an omelet and hashbrowns with a orange slices and coffee. A group of us have been meeting on Saturdays from 10-2 to play Dungeons and Dragons online. It's a good time. My character keeps jumping off of rooftops. Afterwards, my wife and I went to the other side of town so I could practice. Came home and worked around the house, beginning to clean things up after a long couple of months. We watched Jumanji: the Next Level while we ate barbecued chicken legs, brussel sprouts, and ramon noodles. Getting ready for bed.
On the organ, I worked a bit on Mendelssohn's Fourth Organ Sonata, second movement and recorded where it is at right now. I then worked on the service music for tomorrow and sight read through some modern chorale preludes.
ON the piano, I ran through a work for church tomorrow.
