I understand the incentive of the community to lower the value of a post.
Bullies are still there. Paid, mutualised or free, downvotes come from bidbots, voting circles and justiciaries calling to downvote.
Buying rewards breaks problem. Right! Maybe the steemeconomy killed the proof-of-brain.
Having to buy to get engagement is a real problem and the majority of newbies give up after a few posts. Steem has probably the highest bounce rate of all social networks.
We are who we are.
