Yeah, I'm usually pretty careful about that. I don't care how much friends beg me to install something, if it has permissions it shouldn't, I won't install it--even then that isn't a guarantee. Pretty much have to become a hermit to stop it entirely though. I beg my dad to drop Facebook, that beast is a nightmare, but he is incredibly addicted and his time just evaporates away as soon as he gets home from work.

I just wonder about what windows, amazon, and the rest are collecting. Steemit is a pretty amazing platform. My mind is blowing in slow motion still. lol
