Because having your account in Google means that Google knows a lot about you and from that point of view, it shows a personal search result according to your test. Even if you are not logged in to Google account, Google will show you the search result by using cookies. You do not know whether you have noticed, many times the search results show below, when you last visited the site.
Again many times, you have targeted a lot of keywords and how many of them are in the 1st place on the 1st page. There are many companies who may have no search or competition for those keywords, you will get them to 1st place on the 1st page for the keywords and you will also be happy to see that yes my site is running at No. 1 position. Actually there is nothing to be happy about because the competition between 1 will be 1st. Note that your site is ranking for the keywords, how is its search?
