SHADOW DANCER - SEGA - MEGA DRIVE REVIEW
Shadow Dancer is a platform game for Mega Drive, published by Sega in 1990.
Union Lizard is a cult formed by assassins and guided by a mysterious reptilian life form, seeking world domination. To begin with, they have devastated New York City and taken many of its inhabitants hostage.
Kato, a former student of Joe Musashi, becomes another victim of the evil organization. Blinded by rage, the powerful ninja, now accompanied by his late friend's loyal dog, Yamato, has sworn to avenge his death.
Joe Musashi is a master of the ninja arts. He can perform stratospheric leaps, is an expert katana wielder, and fires his shurikens with pinpoint accuracy. If that weren't enough, he can also summon devastating Ninjutsu magic.
But our hero doesn't walk alone. His dog, Yamato, is capable of incapacitating his rivals with his brute strength. At our signal, he'll launch himself at them with lightning speed, making them easy prey for the lethal ninja master.
The members of Union Lizard have taken over New York City. From ordinary soldiers to shadowy Shinobi masters, they all share one clear objective: To destroy us. And they know they must not disappoint their leader, the Great Reptile Sauros.
Numerous hostages remain captive in the conquered areas. Freeing them all, besides being one of the main objectives of our mission, will allow us to increase our skills and chances of survival.
