Final clarifications and moving on...

This is written by @algo.coder

As I haven't had any occasion to really express myself on all this. I will do it now.
@sebbbl made an apologetic post, but this one was already being written, and my opinion and decision didn't change : https://steemit.com/share2steem/@sebbbl/share2steem-back-in-business

And for all who think his excuses are spontaneous, I asked him to do it, and it took some time. Look at his real spontaneous excuses on the Discord server to see what his real level of introspection is. But enough of that.

My Side of the Story

The cause of dissenssion

The only real cause of dissenssion was that I told @sebbbl I wasn't satisfied with the quality of his work, and that he either had to step up his game or step down from Share2Steem. I proposed exit strategies and everything. I know I am not his employer but we were business partners, so I think I had every right to do so. I already excused myself for the words I may have used, some may have been hurtful and that's all.
All of this was just an ego problem.

The "leaving Steem" argument

Actions speak louder than words. Look at my account history. I bought and powered-up 6k STEEM in the past 6 weeks. Does this look like someone leaving the blockchain ? I'm investing time developing an app, and putting money where my mouth is at the same time.

For the "I don't care about Steemit", or "Steem is just a tool, not an end", I will make this fast. This is "out-of-context". The first one is that I was proposing for a few days an innovative business model that would have benefited everyone, and all I had as counter-proposals was "Steemit delegation. Fees. Curation rewards".

For the second, I will just paste my comment on @dynamicrypto 's post :

To clarify, I don't even think about making the same concept for other blockchains. What I only meant is that part of Share2Steem's business might be conducted outside of Steem (only in fiat money). Steem staying fully exclusive in terms of blockchain. But what's best ? A business with part of his activity on the blockchain ? Or no business at all ? Once again, I'm not here to live off fees / curation rewards / hypothetical steemit delegation. I'm here to build a business.

A lot of disinformation has happened, with excerpts being taken out of their context. And in parallel, deleting all information that could show what my real ideas were. Once again, that's not my methods, but that's business. Everything is now resolved, and there will soon be an official post clarifying all this mess.

And more than that, my engagement towards Steem stays the same : bring more money in than out for every Steemian to profit from Share2Steem.

More than that, I'm just a developer building a business, I am entitled to no one except the people using the application, and people delegating to the application.

The facts

I think, in such a situation, the best is to look at facts :

  • Who deleted the Discord server, causing great disarray and confusion ?
  • Who unlinked the domain name, adding to the confusion ?
  • Who began a dishonest misinformation campaign ?

During that time :

  • Who was doing damage control for Share2Steem not to suffer too much from the situation ?
  • Who was putting a website back up for users ?
  • Who maintained the application ? (not one feature has just one second stopped working : cross-posting, compensation, achievements, daily payouts to delegators)

So now, just ask yourselves : Who cares the most about Share2Steem ? Its community ? Its users ? Its delegators ? And even about Steem in general ?

What will I do now ?

I will just continue the development of Share2Steem on my own.
Sorry @jaynie, I forgive but I can not forget. Trust has been broken and that's definitive.

I can not let someone that is capable of hurting Share2Steem on an impulsion have any say in the decision making or have any control over any part of the application. What tells me it won't happen again next time I dare to tell him that he can do better ? Or that he forgot to do this or that ? Or anything not even Steem-related after all ?

I'm just trying to do what's best for Share2Steem, and I think nobody wants something like that to happen ever again, so I ask all of you to only judge me on what I have been doing for Share2Steem for the last 3 months and what I will be doing for the next three years.
I'm here to develop the best application possible for users, community, delegators and every Steemian out there, and , in fact, not every Steemian but just for everyone that might be interested in it. That's all. Doing this is already stressfull enough, I don't need this kind of things adding to it.

So that's all for me, that's my truth (and it is supported by @sebbbl 's apology post, even if there are some point there that still could be misinterpreted).
I won't participate no more in any drama, I won't justify myself about any other potential carefully selected out-of-context excerpt of a private conversation. My only answer to all this will be to continue development and offer the best service there is. If anyone wants to develop the same concept, it's a free market and competition is what's best for users.

What happens now ?

So the new website is : https://share2steem.io
The new discord is : https://discord.me/share2steem

I'm leaving for the Christmas Holidays tomorrow and I won't be back before a week. I won't have much time to come on Discord and even less to code. But when I will be back, it's business as usual, if there's still users, delegators, etc. interested in me pursuing the project. During the week, everything will be fully functional, as it has never stop being.

There won't be any communication from Share2Steem (except if I make a post through the account) as I will need to find new people to take care of that, and I won't have time to do so before leaving. But I rely on the community to make sure this message is propagated. Just know this is my official position and that the application that is currenlty working and that the website https://share2steem.io are mine, and concerned by this.

If anybody also wants to create a basic "media kit" for S2S, please do so, I will of course compensate you.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas, and for those who don't celebrate it, just the best for the week to come !

Steem on !

Hope it will be the last time s2s is in such a ruin.

Please continue, we appreciate your work greatly.

i dont know the story but i can tell you its never worth to fight over egos, try to get peace together or alone but no need to fight ;)

I am a great fan of @share2steem and was happy to delegate to it. I will continue with my delegation.

It's a shame this internal dispute became so public. But it looks like it has been resolved now.

Drama is great for eyeballs, but bad for business. In the media business, you never want to be the story.

@algo.coder, if you want to join a group of dolphins that are trying to give the steem blockchain some direction, check out my last post

Have a great break over xmas! See you around

@kabir88

Fully agree. Glad to see things been sorted out. (At least for time being.)
Waiting for my SP from expiration, to delegate again to this great dApp

I hope, that when situations cool down you will find some solution, which will be suitable for both of you. Anyway this Share 2 Steem is tool with big potential so stay focused :-)

The user is the priority. We need your services and will delegate SP, resteem and upvotes. Just move forward, meditate or smoke weed as long as the ego removed.

Steemit has no problem with @fulltimegeek spamming the blockchain with right-wing conspiracy bullshit, so here's my contribution to Steemit!!

Je sais pas du tout quelle est ta vision concernant le futur de share2steem mais je suis sûre que c'est la bonne ;-) ! (@planetenamek flemme de me co sur mon compte)

Congratulations @share2steem!

May we talk about sincerity ? What about your public apologies towards me ? What about the engagements you took ?

You're right, cooperation is not possible without trust and sincerity. No need to answer, I'm fed up with that shit.

All this was said in a hurry, as you were hurting Share2Steem at a fast pace.
When damage control was done, I had time to think about it and realized I can not forget the harm done to the application. And users must be priority number one, whatever what our dissenssions might be.
The late Discord isn't there anymore to prove it, but I proposed you an exit strategy, 10% of all benefits made by Share2Steem for you to step down. This one I'm keeping. If you want it, you can take it.

Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes only got a 10% share of Facebook and he did a lot of work @sebbbl @algo.coder.

Execution is MUCH more important than the actual ideas but the idea still helped. So I'm happy that you offered @sebbbl a share of the earnings. @algo.coder

Thank you for the update @algo.coder. I'll delegate again once you get back from the Holidays.

Dont let this to drow us down!! Personal problem solves without compromising what you have shared, I have been running out of control in my vote, and losing credibility by betting and divulging an incredible project that is out of thin air because its directors dug up, it does not exist.

I can barely understand your comment @kalam.

too small, Can't read anything,
