Sharepoint 2013 web application creation timeout
When trying to create a web application in sharepoint and you get a http timeout error, then you will want to follow these steps to resolve it.
- Open iis manager on your server
- Go to sharepoint central admin application pool
- Click on advanced settings
- Modify shutdown time limit to 300 from 90
