“When the Expert Took the Wrong Animal” 🐕
A shepherd stood quietly in a green meadow watching his sheep graze peacefully while his loyal dog sat beside him. Suddenly, a loud helicopter landed in the field and a fancy man in a suit stepped out with a laptop. “Are you the shepherd?” he asked. The shepherd nodded silently. The man opened his laptop and proudly said he had satellite data showing the shepherd was managing his sheep the wrong way. He pointed toward a hill and explained there were three paths to greener grass, warning that one had wolves and another was too long, but the third path was perfect and would increase wool production. Feeling very proud of his advice, the man said he would take one sheep as his consulting fee and grabbed an animal before walking back toward the helicopter. Just then the shepherd called out, “You work for the government, don’t you?” Surprised, the man asked how he knew. The shepherd calmly replied, “You came without being invited, you asked questions and answered them yourself, you told me things I already knew, and you don’t really know what you’re doing.” Then the shepherd smiled and said, “Now please give me my dog back.”
