The Mangled Ankles
Mangled ankles have been turning up all over Kent and the inhabitants are scared. Ten murders in ten weeks, all committed with a gun, and still nobody has a clue who the spiteful killer is.
DCI Sophia Humble is a handsome and funny scout with a fondness for trainspotting. She doesn't know it yet but she is the only one who can stop the sinister killer.
When her lover, Garth England, is kidnapped, DCI Humble finds herself thrown into the centre of the investigation. His only clue is a cursed knife.
She enlists the help of a funny doctor called Susan Raymond.
Can Raymond help Humble overcome her coffee addiction and find the answers before the malicious killer and his deadly gun strike again?
