Mangled toenails have been turning up all over Wales and the inhabitants are scared. Ten murders in ten weeks, all committed with a rope, and still nobody has a clue who the stupid killer is.

Prof Boris DeVito is a fat and daring cleaner with a fondness for music. He doesn't know it yet but he is the only one who can stop the greedy killer.
