Touch of gold

Hi friends,

I was out to eat the other day, and I had a dessert with a touch of gold, check it out:

I confess, the gold does not actually add to the taste and is for looks only so a little gimmicky. What’s funny is that we eat trace amounts of gold regularly, and there is even some gold in our hair due to our diet. Interesting!

    Exactly, gold does not add any flavor, but it makes it more striking and expensive of course.

      I've only eaten something with gold in it once, but I wouldn't buy it again. It's bland, as you say. It looks very good, that's all. Happy new week.
