A gift from a friend…

This post is long overdue……
Someone on this platform that I have known for many years now sent me a surprise. I received this package just after Easter. So that tells you how behind I am…..
I consider this person a true friend, even though we have never met in person. Yet!!!
We have sent gifts back and forth for numerous years now. I am proud and honored to say that I was gifted one of personal silver bars. This person is @silversaver888.
She is a super generous person and very thoughtful as well. It is a rare find in this world , especially now a days.
In the package was a 1980-81 Hoffman & Hoffman “Pegasus” silver round. This is one of my all time FAVORITE silver rounds. Silversaver had shown one off in a post just before Easter. I made a comment reading. “I wish that I had bought more”. The next thing I know this package showed up in my mailbox.
These rounds are rare, as per the Allengelhard website there were less than 5,000 minted.
