Chaos imminent….

Afternoon everyone ….

Is war imminent now? Things are getting more complicated. There is so much instability in the world. That having a solid foundation to rely on is becoming more important by the day. Here is my motto “When in doubt buy some more metals”.

Fiat is not the plan. While yes you should have a few hundred dollars in broken up denominations no higher then $20 bills. That’s what most of the really hardcore preppers say. While I’m not opposed to it, if the shit hits the fan like they say it will. I think the inflated costs on anything will require large amounts of money in order to buy anything. So have dry powder laying around, in whatever denomination you feel in correct.

But gold and silver are the foundation to preserve your money. If the scenario that they claim will happen, does actually happen. In my personal opinion gold and silver are by far your best bet to have for preserving your wealth and or possibly even increasing your wealth.

Of course you need to have enough water and food as well, but this isn’t a prepped community it’s a stackers community. So let’s stay in context with it.

Some of the things that I prep aside from metals are: Water- not in plastic containers the chemicals leach into the water over time and cause more harm than good. I have several cases of spring water in 24 oz aluminum cans. Rice- while I’m not a big fan of rice, and don’t consume much of it. I do have twenty five pounds of jasmine rice. Pasta- I have ten pounds of pasta in my reserves at all times. Dried beans- I have both black and kidney beans in my reserves. Beef jerky - I have ten pounds of shelf stable beef jerky. Be careful with this one. Most beef jerky’s are not meant to last longer than a year. Salt, peeper & spices - yes these will be extremely important. Sugar & honey - neither go bad is stored properly. Flour - a must have for any baking. This isn’t everything, but you get the idea. All of the above items are in useable portions. They are air sealed in Mylar bags with an oxygen absorber included. Other non food items: Batteries, flashlights, knives, water filtration, paracord, emergency blankets, guns, ammo, good well fitting boots, etc. I have a bug out bag with emergency items packed and ready to go at all times. But to be honest bugging in is probably a better option. Knowing your surroundings is important during a crisis. Unless you are near massive hostility, I’d say bug in not out.

This is a round from my favorite the Intaglio Mint. It has an inscription of “Morte Prima di Disonore”. Which in short refers to the idea that it was better to suffer defeat in battle or at the hands of a foe in a duel, than surrender or otherwise dishonor yourself.
