Week Two and Six Week Health Challenge | Let's Do Steemit in a Healthy Way

I and sir @long888 went out last night for a walk, we wanted to release some stress we got from our busy life in office. As we reached the long walking/jogging place here in Jeddah KSA we saw these two guys laughing and they said hey how are you? We were surprised 'coz we didn't know them or they might be thinking we're insane bringing a camera while walking. Because here in KSA there are some places that you are not allowed to take photos specially with women around.

I was once seized by the Mall Guard last 2013 because of taking photos of a fountain inside the mall. I'm just lucky that the senior guard is a Filipino friendly guy and he understands how Filipinos deal with their selfies even inside the toilet or in the middle of a deadly scenarios LOL.

So I asked them if its okay to have a photo with them. See how awesome these guys are but one second, we forgot to asked their names even their nationalities. Anyhow, all lives matter whoever or whatever they are they must be treated as brothers we should spread love and peace to the world. We should've invited them to join us in #steemit.

WHY WALK OR RUN

Since we are working in an office for almost eleven hours a day. We need to have a break then, free those stresses we had. A 30 minutes walk or run is really a great help to maintaining ourselves healthy plus the right food to be eaten, a proper diet must have to be considered.

What are the benefits of a long walk or run:

  • The 30 minutes walk everyday can help us increase our cardiovascular fitness. It can help our heart and blood vessels free from being stressed and let our blood circulate normally to our body.

  • It also help us strengthen our bones and muscles as it is a weight bearing activity.

  • Walking is best and natural way to reduce the risk of developing heart disease.

  • Osteoporosis may occur if our body loses bones. By walking at least 30 minutes a day, we can reduce the risk to become an osteoporosis patient.

And there are more benefits that we can get from a walk.

Wooops I found another friend there!

I bet maam @sweetsssj loves animals too as I read one of her travel blogs when she visited Qinling mountains she got a look and even touched those lovely Golden snub-nosed monkeys. Check her post HERE

Well its obvious, I am a pet lover and I do have lovely cats and dogs back there in the Philippines. Look at this cute stray cat he might be walking out there not because he wanted to be free from stress but to seek for a food. I felt sorry to this guy that I don't have any food to offer for him.

What more can I say? This is another great work of yours, as usual. Keep it up and keep on steeming!

I wish we could do it (walking) at least every other day...

P.S. A lot of people are discouraged (sometimes including me) because they just received cents in their post, in your end you are receiving BIG, but juts a piece of advice, don't ever be contented, you should strive more to get more. Target a 50$ earnings in each of your post so you will become a dolphin fast!

I am one of those steemit small fishes who were discouraged once sir @long888. Maybe I'm just lucky that God gave me this little talent I have like singing although Im not a best one but I can make them smile sometimes LOL. And I received a lot of rewards because of that. Small thing means a lot for me maybe because I'm a negative thinker one and never had a lot of things specially the monetary thing.

I am not just giving myself a break in posting or because I am contented already. NO, I am just out of brains to create a quick topic and my writing skill is not as good as you. huhuhu

Walking is a good exercise. I used to go to the park before just to walk at least an hour. Goodluck to your entry.
