Why do people skateboard?

Why do people go to the Army? Why does one become a doctor? A lawyer? A construction worker? Why does she bake a cake? Each person has their own reasons to do something.

Most skateboarders ride a skateboard because it's fun. But some people do it because they're bored, others because they want to stay in shape, some to impress spectators and some to push their limits... Some even do it as an art form.

I skateboard because it improves my surfing.
