The problem is really that everyone should be able to access the full range of human emotion, no? You should be able to laugh and rage and cry and hug another person, cheer someone on, express sympathy to a friend in need, and so on, without anyone shaming or judging you—and so should I. Denying or stunting our emotions just isn't healthy!
